Description of the position

They are looking for a Business Intelligence Consultant who will be responsible for designing, testing, and implementing business intelligence solution plus fixing the existing ones.



Working Experience

@ Minimum of 5 years hands-on work in Business Intelligence.

@ Hands-on experience with Oracle 12c, ODI 12 and MicroStrategy 2020-onwards.

@ Experience in cloud based solutions on Azure (Azure Data lake, Azure Data Storage, Azure Data Factory).

@ Experience in data governance and information organization.



Valuable for the position:

# Knowledge on AWS or Google cloud.

# Experience with Master Data Management, design and implementation.

# Experience in Agile development.



Key Responsibilities

@.Work as the project lead to understand business processes and implement company-centric solutions including but not limited to:

Updating our central data warehouse, using best practices to gather requirements, model data, and implement a system that is highly performant and near-real-time.
Extend existing Data Warehouse infrastructures with new dimensionality, functionalities, scenarios and new data sources using Oracle Data Integrator.
Develop interactive reporting solutions using MicroStrategy /Power BI.@ Databases Management: Strong technical level in SQL. Manage indexes and know about performance improvements at database level (mainly in Oracle 12c, but also in other cloud-based technologies).
@ ETL Management: Design and develop the information interfaces though all source systems to the data warehouse using ODI 12. Orchestrate and coordinate data flows between business scenarios to provide consistent information on-time.

@ Reporting Management: Design and develop information integration from the data warehouse models to the reporting layer.



Mandatory skills

@ In-depth knowledge of Oracle Database, Oracle Data Integrator and Microstrategy are a must.

@ Advanced knowledge of Data Warehousing and BI best practices.

@ Excellent analytic and deductive reasoning ability



Valuable for the position:

# Other knowledge and experience on ETL and reporting tools (like Power BI) is a plus.

# Knowledge in R or python is a plus.



Languages

English: Fluent B2/C1.

Spanish: Fluent.



Job location

Madrid. European Union citizen; otherwise, a valid job permit is mandatory.

A very competitive salary package.



Working from home

At least 50% allowed.
